India's Kingfisher Airlines has revived plans to serve Dubai in the UAE.

Kingfisher says on its website that Dubai will be served daily from Bangalore from 7 March. Flights will be operated non-stop with Airbus A320s.

The carrier originally planned to serve Dubai from 8 February but pushed back the launch for unexplained reasons. It also pushed back the planned launch of Hong Kong and Singapore services last month, saying it was due to a software issue relating to the in-flight entertainment systems on its new Airbus A330s

Kingfisher has said it intends to soon revive plans to serve Hong Kong and Singapore. It has also said it is looking at serving Bangkok, Dhaka and Kuala Lumpur.

It currently serves just two international destinations, London and Colombo.
