IndiGo is adding Chandigarh to its route network while also boosting frequencies from India's financial capital to Ahmedabad and Goa.
The Indian low-cost carrier will add two new direct flights to Chandigarh on 10 September, it says in a statement.
A third direct daily service will also be added to both its Mumbai-Ahmedabad route and its Mumbai-Goa connection.
IndiGo chief executive Aditya Ghosh says the airline will further consider boosting connectivity between Bangalore and Chandīgarh.
According to Innovata schedules, IndiGo will compete with Jet Airways, Air India, GoAir and Kingfisher Airlines on the Mumbai-Chandigarh route.
