Low-cost carrier IndiGo captured 27% of India's domestic market share in July.
Jet Airways and Air India trailed behind with market shares of 19.4% and 18.2% respectively. The remaining carriers - Spicejet, JetLite, GoAir and Kingfisher - recorded market shares of 17.8%, 7.2%, 7.0% and 3.4% respectively.
IndiGo carried 1.23 million passengers in July, while Jet Airways carried 882,000 and JetLite carried 325,000 passengers.
Air India recorded domestic passenger numbers of 824,000 in July, while SpiceJet, GoAir and Kingfisher Airlines posted numbers of 808,000, 316,000 and 156,000 respectively.
In total, Indian carriers recorded domestic passenger numbers of 4.54 million in July.
Domestic passenger numbers for the first seven months of 2012 grew by 1.74% year on year to 35.5 million.
