Indonesian carrier Mandala Airlines has decided to appoint Diono Nurjadin as president director on a permanent basis.

Diono became acting president director early this year when Warwick Brady left but the carrier now says Diono has decided to take on the job long-term. Diono is also president of Cardig International, the Indonesian company that is one of two major owners of the airline.

According to Flight's ACAS database Mandala has nine Airbus A320-family aircraft.
