Austrian regional carrier InterSky has opted for ATR's aftermarket support programme to maintain components for its two ATR 72-600s.
The Bregenz-headquartered airline inked a five-year MRO agreement with the manufacturer, covering line-replaceable units as well as other components such as propellers.
ATR will manage equipment repair and availability; provide access to its spare part pool; and install a leased spares kit at InterSky's base at Friedrichshafen airport in south Germany.
The carrier has its own hangar where it maintains its fleet.
InterSky previously operated a fleet of Bombardier Dash 8 Q300s. But after German aviation entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl became majority shareholder through Intro Group last year, the airline ordered two ATR 72-600s for its expansion plans.
The first aircraft was delivered in early January 2013, with the second due to follow in March.
