Conclusion of a deal under which Intro Aviation will purchase Air France's loss-making regional subsidiary CityJet is not far off, the German investment group indicates.
Intro labelled as "inaccurate" recent media reports that quote its co-founder Hans Rudolf Woehrl as suggesting the two parties were a significant way from agreement.
Earlier this month, CityJet chief executive Christine Ourmières said she hopes a decision will be made on the future of the regional airline by the end of July.
Air France had in February shortlisted six investor candidates for CityJet, and in April, Intro Aviation confirmed it was among the bidders interested in acquiring the Irish subsidiary.
An Air France filing with the national companies registry in June revealed that CityJet made a loss of €196 million ($260 million) in 2012.
