Leading unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) manufacturer Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Aeronautics UAV Systems to jointly develop, manufacture and market tactical UAV systems. Under the agreement IAI has the option to acquire a 25% stake in Aeronautics.
The two Israeli companies are closely cooperating at Le Bourget, with Aeronautics' Aerosky UAV being displayed along side IAI Malat Division¹s Searcher II and Hunter products.
