Israeli carrier Israir has purchased two ATR 72-500 turboprops.
An Israir spokesman says the aircraft will be delivered this spring and will be deployed on domestic routes to the Red Sea resort of Eilat, as well as to destinations in the Mediterranean region.
The spokesman values the deal at $35 million.
Israir currently operates its European charter flights using two Airbus A320s.
