Italian aviation regulator ENAC has summoned Italian start-up carrier Air Bee to a meeting to discuss continued service difficulties, citing the airline's failure to fulfil previous commitments to improve services.

ENAC met Air Bee officials last month to discuss recent service disruptions, notably on flights from Crotone and Trapani, and identified a lack of contingency aircraft to operate its schedule. The carrier, which operates Boeing MD-82s from Brescia and Rome bases, committed to stabilise its operations as soon as possible.

But ENAC has now called a meeting with the airline for tomorrow to discuss repeated delays and disruption on its services, saying it has not fulfilled the commitments made in previous meetings aimed at improving its operations.
