Jackson Square Aviation has acquired a new Airbus A330-200 from Avianca under a purchase and leaseback agreement, market sources indicate.
The aircraft (MSN 1400) is equipped with Rolls Royce Trent 772B-60 engines.
The transaction marks the third time Jackson Square Aviation acquires a new aircraft from the carrier. In 2010, it purchased a new A320 and a new A319 from Avianca.
Avianca's A330-200 fleet includes eight units, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database.
