Jade Cargo launches new Chengdu-Europe service

China cargo carrier Jade Cargo has launched a twice-weekly service on the Chengdu-Vienna-Amsterdam-Dubai-Chengdu route.

The carrier operates a Boeing 747-400ER freighter on the route, and the frequency will increase to three-times weekly at the beginning of 2010, says Jade Cargo.

Jade Cargo is a joint venture between Germany's Lufthansa and Chinese carrier Shenzhen Airlines. According to Flight's ACAS database it has five Boeing 747-400ER freighters.
