Japan Airlines (JAL) has posted an 82.7% increase in domestic passenger traffic in its fiscal second quarter, compared with the same period a year ago.
Domestic capacity, measured in ASKs, grew 80.6% while total passenger numbers grew by 81.7%. The load factor stood at 68.3%, said the Oneworld alliance member.
Traffic on international routes for the three-month period ended 30 September increased by 69.8% against a capacity increase of 72.9% year-on-year. The airline's international load factor was 74.4%.
The amount of international cargo carried by JAL in the fiscal second quarter increased by 43.3% to 116,000 tonnes.
