Japan Airlines (JAL) has concluded a new deal with Ansett Aircraft Spares and Services covering the relocation of JAL's parts inventories for marketing through the Ansett global sales and distribution network.

The multi-year agreement covers rotable and expendable parts and components for the Boeing 747 aircraft that JAL retired from its fleet in 2009.

JAL explains the agreement allows the carrier to market the disused inventories through Ansett's network.

Ansett Aircraft Spares and Services is stocking the inventory at its distribution centres in Los Angeles, London and Melbourne.
