Japan Airlines unveils more 787 international routes

Japan Airlines (JAL) has unveiled the details of the routes on which it plans to deploy its Boeing 787-8s in the coming months.

The Oneworld alliance member will operate the aircraft on the Tokyo Narita-New Delhi route on 1 May, and Tokyo Haneda-Beijing and Narita-Moscow on 7 May.

Services from both Haneda and Narita to Singapore will start in September, with more frequencies to be added in October.

Narita-San Diego services are expected to begin in December 2012 and Narita-Helsinki services in March 2013.

The airline began its 787 operations with a four times weekly Narita-Boston service on 22 April.

JAL has received two 787-8s so far. It has ordered 25 787-8s and 20 787-9s.
