Japanese low-cost carrier Peach Aviation has announced its summer 2013 schedule with the launch of four new services - three domestic and one international.

The carrier will launch a twice daily service from Osaka Kansai to Sendai on 12 April, followed by a daily service from Osaka Kansai to Ishigaki on 14 June. It will start a daily service on the Okinawa Naha-Ishigaki route on 13 September.

Peach will also operate a daily service on the Osaka Kansai-Busan route starting September.

The carrier has applied to the country's ministry of land, infrastructure and transport for approval to serve these routes.

Peach plans to receive four aircraft this summer, and increase its fleet size to 17 aircraft by 2015.

Innovata schedules show that Peach will compete with Air Busan, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines on the Osaka Kansai-Busan route and will be the sole operator on Osaka Kansai-Sendai route.
