Jazeera Airways opens flights for booking

Flight International online news 09:30GMT: The Middle East's first privately-owned airline Jazeera Airways has announced its first flights are open for booking.

The Kuwait-based carrier says passengers can now book flights to Dubai, Lebanon, Damascus, Amman and Bahrain with a first flight planned for 16 November 2005.

Future planned destinations include Egypt, India and South East Asia.

Jazeera Airways will operate new Airbus  A320 aircraft, which will be maintained  by German firm Lufthansa-Technik.
