Jet Airways will increase its daily frequency between Chennai and Singapore from 1 August.

The carrier will add a second daily flight on the route, operated by a Boeing 737-800.

Jet says that the new service will offer better connections to Australia, New Zealand and Pacific destinations through its codeshare and interline partners.

Innovata schedules show that the airline competes with Indigo, Air India, SilkAir, Singapore Airlines and Tigerair on the Chennai-Singapore route.
