Comair CRJ700/900 fleets find new homes

A total of 18 Bombardier CRJ700 and CRJ900 aircraft have been placed on lease by Delta Air Lines after regional carrier ceased operations on 29 September.

Comair operated 15 70-seat CRJ700s and 13 76-seat CRJ900s but seven CRJ700s and 11 CRJ900s have been successfully placed.

GoJet Airlines leased six Bombardier CRJ700ER (10079, 10097, 10125, 10134, 10143, 10176) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Delta Air Lines. The 2002/03/04-vintage aircraft were operated by Comair since new.

ExpressJet Airlines leased a Bombardier CRJ700ER (10108) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Delta Air Lines. The 2003-vintage aircraft was operated by Comair since new.

ExpressJet Airlines leased five Bombardier CRJ900ER (15097, 15125, 15127, 15136, 15157) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from Comair. The 2007-vintage aircraft were operated by Delta Air Lines since new.

Skywest Airlines leased six Bombardier CRJ900ER (15096, 15092, 15132, 15133, 15159, 15164) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from Delta Air Lines. The 2007/08-vintage aircraft were operated by Comair since new.

Aero Contractors leased a Boeing 737-400 (29202) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Solaseed Air.

Aero Bee Airlines wetleased a Boeing 737-800 (37748) aircraft with CFM56-7B24/3 engines from Air Berlin. The 2010-vintage aircraft is owned by CIT Aerospace.

Aeromexico Connect leased an Embraer 170 (17000046) aircraft with CF34-8E5 engines from Republic Airlines. The 2005-vintage aircraft was operated by Republic Airlines since new.

Air Madagascar purchased an Airbus A340-300 (319) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Air France. The 2000-vintage aircraft was operated by Air France since new.

Calm Air purchased a Dornier 328Jet (3145) aircraft with PW306B engines from Aviando Services. The 2000-vintage aircraft was operated by Aviando Services since 2007.

Caspian Airlines leased a Boeing MD-83 (53464) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Khors Aircompany. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Burkina.

Eagle Aviation acquired a Boeing 737-500 (29122) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Sojitz Aircraft Leasing. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Pegasus Airlines.

Eirtrade Aviation purchased a Boeing 747-400 (24883) with CF6-80C2B1F engines from AWAS. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aerolineas Argentinas.

FedEx purchased a Boeing 757-200 (24737) aircraft with PW2040 engines from PALS 2000-1 ABS portfolio. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Primaris Airlines.

GainJet Aviation purchased a Boeing 737-400 (25423) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in a transaction arranged by Cabot Aviation. The 1992-vintage aircraft was operated by KLM since new.

Garuda Indonesia wetleased an Airbus A330-300 (271) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Air Transat. The 2001-vintage aircraft is on lease from ILFC.

Med-View Airlines leased a Boeing 737-400 (25362) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AerSale. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Olympic Airlines.

Nok Air leased a Boeing 737-800 (32577) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jet Airways.

Shaheen Air International leased a Boeing 737-300 (25355) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AG Jet Leasing. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Nok Air.

Trans Air Congo leased a Boeing 737-300 (24986) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 from TAF 2000-1 ABS portfolio. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by AVE.com.

Yamal Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (2419) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from CIT Aerospace International. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Cebu Pacific Air.

TAG Aviation Stansted purchased two Boeing 727-200F (22929, 22938) aircraft from FedEx. The 1983/84-vintage aircraft were operated by FedEx since new.
