Gestair Cargo leases two 767-300BDSFs
Gestair Cargo agreed to lease two Boeing 767-300BDSF (26544, 24729) aircraft with PW4060 engines from Guggenheim Aviation Partners. Both aircraft were acquired last year, as passenger aircraft, for cargo conversion.
The first aircraft, MSN 26544, was manufactured in 1992 and originally delivered to SAS Scandinavian Airlines, and was subsequently leased to LAN Airlines.
The second aircraft, MSN 24729, was manufactured in 1991 and originally delivered to SAS Scandinavian Airlines, and was subsequently leased to AeroSvit Airlines.
Airbus Financial Services purchased an Airbus A340-300 (197) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Iberia. The 1997-vintage aircraft was operated by Iberia since new.
Arkefly subleased a Boeing 767-300ER (29138) aircraft with CF6-80C2B7F engines from Thomson Airways. The 2000-vintage aircraft is on lease to Thomson Airways from AerCap.
Bangladesh Biman wetleased two Boeing 747-400 (26555, 27178) aircraft with PW4056 engines from Pullmantur Air for Hajj flights. MSN 26555 is an ex-Singapore Airlines aircraft, which was built in 1996. MSN 27178 is an ex-Singapore Airlines aircraft, which was built in 1994.
Dougherty Air XV11 Investment Trust acquired a Boeing MD88 (49984) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Bank of New York Mellon, as owner trustee. The 1990 vintage is currently on lease to Delta Airlines. Bristol Associates completed the sale on behalf of Bank of New York Mellon. Dougherty Air XV11 Investment Trust was advised by AirCapital Aviation Services.
Dougherty Equipment Finance acquired two Boeing MD83 (53623, 53624) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from EAST. The 1999-vintage aircraft are on lease to American Airlines. Macquarie AirFinance arranged the sale.
FedEx purchased a Boeing MD11-ERP (23323) aircraft with CF6-80C2D1F engines from Boeing Capital Corp. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Finnair.
Garuda Indonesia wetleased an Airbus A330-300 (250) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Air Transat for Hajj flights. The 1999-vintage aircraft is leased by ILFC to Air Transat.
GMG Airlines subleased a Boeing 757-200 (27203) aircraft with PW2037 engines from Small Planet Airways. The 1994-vintage aircraft was last operated by AeroMexico.
Iberworld subleased an Airbus A330-300 (461) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Orbest. The 2002-vintage aircraft is leased by CIT Group to Orbest.
Jeju Air leased a Boeing 737-800 (28383) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Oak Hill Capital Management. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Europa.
JetBlue Airways leased an Airbus A320-200 (1785) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from GECAS. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Blue Wings.
Macquarie AirFinance closed the purchase of one Boeing 737-700 (29370) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from ILFC. The 2006-vintage aircraft has a lease attached to china Southern Airlines. The aircraft is part of the ILFC portfolio purchase announced earlier this year.
Macquarie AirFinance completed the purchase of two Airbus A320-200 (2749, 2867) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Air Berlin. The 2006-vintage aircraft will be on long-term leaseback to Air Berlin and sub-leased by Air Berlin's Austrian affiliate Niki.
NAS Air wetleased a Boeing 757-200ER (26276) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Mint Airways for Hajj flights. The 1996-vintage aircraft is leased by ILFC to Mint Airways.
Nationale Regionale Transport leased a BAe 146-200 (3187) aircraft with ALF502-R5 engines from African Airlines Investments. The 1990-vintage aircraft was last operated by Eurowings.
Royal Brunei leased a Boeing 777-200 (30869) aircraft with Trent 892B-17 engines from Singapore Airlines. The 2001-vintage aircraft was operated by Singapore Airlines since new.
Saudi Arabian Airlines leased (ACMI) two Boeing 757-200ER (24292, 27622) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Astraeus for Hajj flights. MSN 24292 is a 1989-vintage ex-First Choice Airways aircraft is leased to Astraeus by AWAS. MSN 27622 is a 1997-vintage aircraft leased to Astraeus by ILFC.
Saudi Arabian Airlines wetleased two Boeing 757-200ER (26254, 30044) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from AtlasJet Airlines for Hajj flights. MSN 26254 is a 1999-vintage aircraft leased by ILFC to AtlasJet Airlines. MSN 30044 is a 2001-vintage aircraft leased by ILFC to AtlasJet Airlines.
South Jet One acquired an Airbus A320-200 (1973) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines from Macquarie AirFinance. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by All Nippon Airways.
Swift Air leased a Boeing 767-200ER (23306) with JT9D-7R4D engines from KMW Leasing. The 1985-vintage aircraft was last operated by MAXjet Airways.
