Florida West Airways adds 767F
Florida West International Airways is adding a second Boeing 767-300 Freighter to its fleet.
The carrier subleased a Boeing 767-300ERF (35818) aircraft with CF6-80C2B7F engines from LAN Cargo for a period of two years. The 2007-vintage aircraft is leased to LAN Cargo by Japan Airlines Cargo.
Florida West International Airways already operates a 767-300ERF, MSN 30842, on a sublease contract from LAN Cargo. The 2001-vintage aircraft is leased by GECAS to LAN Cargo.
AeroMéxico subleased a Boeing 737-800 (28378) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from Transavia Airlines. The 1999-vintage aircraft is leased by Mitsui & Co to Transavia Airlines through 2012.
AeroMéxico signed a lease extension for two Boeing 737-700 (33783, 33785) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines with RBS Aviation Capital. Both 2003-vintage aircraft are owned by Airspeed Leasing.
Air New Zealand signed a lease extension for one Airbus A320-200 (MSN 2148) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines with RBS Aviation Capital. The aircraft has been operated by Air New Zealand since new in January 2004.
Allegiant Air acquired three Boeing 757-200ER (23983, 26963, 26964) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Sunrise Asset Management. MSN 23983 is a 1988-vintage aircraft last operated by AtlasJet International Airlines. MSNs 26963 and 26964 are 1992-vintage aircraft last operated by Thomson Airways. The aircraft are part of a six 757-200 aircraft forward purchase agreement as Allegiant expands its leisure travel operations into Hawaii.
AnadoluJet subleased one Airbus A320-200 (1194) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from Sky Airlines. The 2000-vintage ex-BMI aircraft is owned by MALC Aviation.
Asiana Airlines signed a lease extension for one A321-200 (MSN 2041) aircraft with with V2533-A5 engines with RBS Aviation Capital. The aircraft has been operated by Air New Zealand since new in November 2003.
Caribbean Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (34171) aircraft with CFM56-7B27/3 engines from Transavia Airlines. The 2009-vintage aircraft is owned by SMFL Aircraft.
Cham Wings wetleased a Boeing MD-83 (53232) aircraft with JT8D-217C engines from Sky Wings Airlines. The 1995-vintage ex-AeroRepublica aircraft is on lease from Boeing Capital.
French Air Force leased an Airbus A330-200 (240) aircraft with PW4168A engines from Sabena Technics. The 1998-vintage aircraft was last operated by Air Caraibes.
Fly 6ix of Sierra Leone leased (one-year ACMI contract) for Embraer ERJ-135LR (145661) aircraft with AE3007-A3 engines from Aircraft Leasing Services of Kenya in a deal arranged by Skyworld Aviation. The 2003-vintage aircraft was acquired by Aircraft Leasing Services from Republic Airlines in 2008.
Interjet leased one Airbus A320-200 (3304) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from the CIT Group. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mexicana.
Sri Lankan leased one Airbus A320-200 (2584) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Sahaab Aircraft Leasing. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jazeera Airways.
Jazz Air has received two Boeing 757-200ER (28674, 30758) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Thomas Cook Airlines. The Canadian regional carrier signed a flight services agreement with Thomas Cook Canada to operate six Boeing 757-200 aircraft for a minimum of two winter seasons. The agreement between Jazz and Thomas Cook has an initial term ending 30 April 2012. Jazz explains if it can reach an agreement on pricing for three additional winter seasons by the end of May the terms of the partnership will extend to 30 April 2015.
Jet Midwest Group acquired four Boeing MD-83 (49632, 49942, 49948, 53122) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Avianca in a transaction arranged by BAE Systems' Asset Management. The aircraft were manufactured in 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992, respectively.
National Air Cargo Group purchased a Boeing 747-400BCF (25302) with CF6-80C2B1F engines from Avion Aircraft Trading. The 1991-vintage was operated as a 747-400PC since new before conversion into a -BCF model.
Northern Air Cargo leased a Boeing 737-300SF (23953) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from Aurora Aviation. The 1987-vintage aircraft was last operated as a passenger aircraft by US Airways.
Pamir Air International acquired a Boeing 737-400 (26086) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1993-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Anadolu Jet.
Sierra American Corporation purchased one Boeing MD-83 (53123) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Avianca in a deal arranged by BAE Systems' Asset Management. The aircraft were manufactured in 1992.
Sunwing Airline subleased a Boeing 737-800 (30719) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Travel Service. The 2007-vintage aircraft is owned by Macquarie AirFinance.
