AerCap sells 15 aircraft

AerCap closed 15 sales transactions during the last quarter of 2011.

The operating lessor sold for nine used aircraft from its owned portfolio, including three 1991-vintage aircraft Boeing 737-500 (24646, 24826, 24827) with CFM56-3C1 engines to Nordavia - Regional Airlines, two 1991-vintage Boeing 737-400 (27306, 27383) with CFM56-3C1 engines to KV Aviation to Jetstar Pacific Airlines.

AerCap also sold four 1987-vintage MD-83 (49346, 49347, 49348, 49349) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines off lease to American Airlines.

From its managed portfolio, AerCap sold three 1992/93-vintage aircraft Boeing 737-500 (24651, 25789, 27155) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines to Nordavia - Regional Airlines from AerCo. Another AerCo's 737-500 aircraft, MSN 25604, was sold to Batavia Air.

AerCap also announced the sale of one Airbus A320-200 (299) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines as well as one Boeing 737-500 (26067) with CFM56-3C1 engines on behalf of AerCo. The 1992-vintage aircraft was last operated by Kuban Airlines.

During the fourth quarter it also leased one Airbus A319-100 (2648) aircraft with V2524-A5 engines to Bangkok Airways, two A320-200 (892, 1635) aircraft to Garuda Indonesia, two Boeing 737-800 (27985, 27991) aircraft to Sriwijaya Air as well as two A320-200s (2747, 2753) aircraft to Atlasjet Airlines. Both aircraft were previously on lease to Kingfisher Airlines.

Aer Lingus leased two Airbus A319-100 (3169, 3377) aircraft with CFM56-5B5/P engines from RBS Aviation Capital. The -vintage aircraft were previously operated by Iberia.

Air Asia transferred an Airbus A320-200 (3549) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/3 engines from Indonesia Air Asia. The 2008-vintage aircraft was operated by Air Asia since new.

Air Europa leased two Airbus A330-200 (505, 526) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from ILFC. The 2002/03-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Cyprus Airways.

Brussels Airlines leased two Airbus A320-200 (1797, 1838) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from GECAS. The 2002-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Air Berlin.

Cubana wetleased an Airbus A320-200 (299) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Avion Express. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Amsterdam Airlines.

Eastern SkyJets leased a Boeing 737-300 (25119) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AWAS. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Astraeus.

Hebei Airlines acquired two Boeing 737-700 (34024, 34025) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from Xiamen Airlines for Chinese yuan (CNY) 426 million ($67.4 million). The 2005-vintage aircraft were purchased from Boeing via China Aviation Supplies.

Jet2 leased a Boeing 737-300 (28658) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Sojitz Aircraft Leasing. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Norwegian.

MidAmerican Aerospace purchased a Boeing 737-300 (23458) from with CFM56-3B1 engines from a syndicate of bank led by Bank of Utah. The 1986-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Global Air.

Orix Aviation acquired a Boeing 737-800 (37252) aircraft with CFM engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 2011-vintage aircraft is on lease to TUIFly.

PAL - Principal Airlines wetleased an Airbus A330-200 (1097) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Orbest Airlines. The 2010-vintage aircraft is owned by AWAS.

Royal Brunei Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A320-200 (2195) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2004-vintage aircraft is currently on lease to Tiger Airways through March.

SCAT Airlines leased a Bombardier CRJ200LR (7902) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from AviaAM Leasing. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Eurowings.

Sky Airline leased an Airbus A320-200 (447) aircraft with V2500-A1 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mexicana.

Tiara Air Aruba leased a Boeing 737-300 (24249) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AirTrust Capital. The 1988-vintage aircraft was operated by GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes.

TNT Airways leased a Boeing 737-400SF (29208, 29209, 29210) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1998-vintage aircraft were last operated by Garuda Indonesia as passenger aircraft.

Toll Priority leased a Boeing 737-400SF (24709) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aurora Leasing. The 1991-vintage aircraft was last operated as a passenger aircraft by Olympic Airlines.

Ukraine International Airlines leased a Boeing 737-300 (28670) from with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aergo Capital. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Brussels Airlines.

Viva Aerobus leased a Boeing 737-300 (27457) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from AWAS. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Norwegian.

Yamal Airlines leased a Bombardier CRJ200LR (7607) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from AviaAM Leasing. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Eurowings.
