GECAS purchases A340 for part out
GECAS Asset Management Services has acquired an Airbus A340-300 aircraft from AC Aircraft Leasing 6 (Cayman) Ltd for part out.
The 1993-vintage aircraft was equipped with CFM56-5C2 engines. It was initially operated by Virgin Atlantic Airways and acquired in 2007 by GMT Global Republic Aviation. The aircraft was last operated by Safi Airways.
The transaction was arranged by AMS Aircraft Ltd.
Aero Nusuntara Indonesia acquired a Boeing 737-300 (26421) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from TAG Aviation (Stansted). The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by bmibaby.
Airlink South Africa purchased one Embraer 135LR (620) aircraft with AE3007-A1/3 engines from ECC Leasing. The 2003-vintage aircraft was placed on lease to Airlink in 2010 along with three ERJ-135s.

Garuda Indonesia wetleased four Airbus A330-200 (250, 271, 369, 480) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Air Transat. MSNs 250, 271, 480 are 1999/2002-vintage aircraft on lease from ILFC. MSn 369 is a 2000-vintage aircraft leased from CIT Aerospace.
Automatic (Aircraft 24219) purchased a Boeing 737-300QC (24219) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 1988-vintage aircraft was placed on lease to Titan Airways in 2004 and was previously operated by Easyjet.
