GA Telesis purchases 767-300s for part out
GA Telesis has purchased two Boeing 767-300 (23216, 23217) aircraft with JT9D-7R4D engines from Japan Airlines for part out. Both 1986-vintage aircraft were operated by Japan Airlines since new. The transaction was arranged by JALUX.
The 767-300s will enter the GA Telesis disassembly production line in Florida, and the disassembly and remarketing will be led by the GA Telesis aircraft systems group and turbine engine group, respectively.
MSN 23,216 had 41,435 cycles and 52,267 hours while MSN 23,217 had 39,038 cycles and 40,928 hours.
AeroLogic took delivery of the first of eight Boeing 777-200LRF (37701) aircraft. The aircraft will be operated on a long-term operating lease from DCM Deutsche Capital Management.
Air Baltic leased a Boeing 737-300 (24962) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from GECAS. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Viking Airlines.
Air Ivoire wetleased a Boeing 737-300 (24140) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from JAT Airways. The 1988-vintage aircraft has been operated by JAT Airways since new.
Air Ivoire wetleased a Boeing MD82 (49139) aircraft with JT8D-217 engines from Jetran Air. The 1983-vintage aircraft was operated by Charter Services.
Allegiant Air acquired a Boeing MD83 (53046) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Bank of NY Mellon. The 1990-vintage aircraft was operated by Avianca until March 2009.
AnadoluJet leased a Boeing 737-400 (26078) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Turkish Airlines.
Axis Airways leased a Boeing 737-800 (28612) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from GECAS. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Futura International Airways.
Blue Line acquired an Airbus A310-300 (325) aircraft with CF6-80A3 engines. The 1984-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Blue Panorama Airlines leased a Boeing 767-300ER (27619) aircraft with PW4060 engines from ILFC through July 2013. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Varig VRG Linhas Aereas.
B&H Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-300 (25184) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Turkish Airlines. The 1992-vintage aircraft is on lease from GECAS through 2013.
Cargolux Airlines transferred a Boeing 747-400 (25868) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines to Cargolux Italia to operate out of Milan. The 1997-vintage aircraft is on lease from AWAS.
CargoItalia leased a Boeing MD11F (48428) aircraft with CF6-80C2D1F engines from AWAS. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Alitalia.
Cimber Sterling leased a Boeing 737-700 (28010) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from Aircastle Investment. The 1999-vintage aircraft is the fourth ex-Sterling aircraft being leased by Cimber Sterling. As reported in the Jet deals - 16 March 2009 on CAO, another two (28014, 28015) are on lease to Tunisair while the remaining aircraft (29078) is leased to Aires Columbia.
Engage Aviation purchased a Boeing 737-300 (23377) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from EAST. The 1986-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Avolar Airlines.
Iberworld has taken delivery of the first (3889) of three Airbus A320-200s with CFM56s from GECASand has returned one 2001-vintage A320-200 (1597) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines to the lessor.
Iranian Air Transport acquired a Fokker F100 (11509) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from Regional. The 1995-vintage aircraft was purchased off lease by Regional in 2007 from DB Export Leasing.
Kabo Air wetleased a Boeing 767-300ER (25365) aircraft with PW4060 engines from Icelandair. The 1991-vintage aircraft is on lease from Aircastle Investment.
LAN Cargo leased a new Boeing 777-200LRF (37708) aircraft with GE90-110B1 engines from GECAS. The aircraft is the first of two which the expanding freight carrier will take on lease from GECAS this year.
Mexicana Inter leased another Bombardier CRJ200ER (7491) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Chautuaqua Airlines. It has already taken delivery of MSN 7311 and MSN 7313 from GECAS.
National Air Services leased an Airbus A320-200 (3402) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from Saad Group. The 2008-vintage aircraft was purchased last year on delivery to Deccan.
Oman Air subleased an Airbus A330-200 (807) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Jet Airways. The 2007-vintage aircraft is owned by ILFC.
Solomon Airlines leased (ACMI contract) an Airbus A320-200 from Strategic Airlines. Strategic Airlines announced it leased two ex-Aerolineas Argentinas A320-200 (420, 436) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from AerCap last week. The first aircraft is expected in June 2009 while the second is planned in July.
Surinam Airways agreed to lease one Boeing 737-300 (28669) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AWAS. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by LOT Polish Airlines and Centralwings.
Swiftair wet-leased a Boeing MD87 (53207) aircraft with JT8D-217 engines from IMD Airways. The 1991-vintage aircraft was acquired last year by IMD Airways from Iberia. The aircraft will be used for United Nations applications.
Swiss International Airlines leased an Airbus A320-200 (1762) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously leased to LTU.
Viking Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (30292) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Sunwing for the summer period. The 2004-vintage aircraft is leased by Aviation Capital Group to Sunwing.

West Atlantic purchased and converted a Boeing 737-300 passenger (23951) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines into a freighter aircraft. The 1988-vintage aircraft was acquired from Germania Flug.
Yakutia Airlines leased a Boeing 757-200 (27974) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Jet-I Holdings. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by ATA Airlines.
Windrose Air subleased two new Embraer 195 -200SR (157, 169) aircraft with CF34-10E7 engines from Nas Air. Both aircraft are owned by GECAS and will be in operation in June.
