Deucalion places 747 with Asiana

Asiana Airlines has entered into a 10-year lease agreement with the Deucalion Aviation Funds for one Boeing 747-400 aircraft, which is currently undergoing conversion from passenger to freighter configuration at the IAI Bedek conversion facility.

The 1999-vintage aircraft, MSN 29375, is equipped with CF6-80C2B1F engines. According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, the aircraft was purchased from ILFC last November. It was lat operated by Air New Zealand.

Asiana is scheduled to take delivery of the 747-400SF in the second quarter of this year, following completion of the conversion and fresh airframe D Check.

Deucalion, managed by DVB Bank SE, was advised on the lease by DVB aviation asset management.

Air Europa leased an Airbus A330-200 (526) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Cyprus Airways.

Bahamasair leased a Boeing 737-500 (26450) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aerolineas Argentinas.

CCM Air Corsica leased an Airbus A320 (4463) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from Volito Aviation. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Berlin.

GECAS Asset Management Services signed letter of intent with Cyprus Airways for the acquisition of two Airbus A319 (1729, 1768) aircraft for $30.5 million. Cabot Aviation is the remarketing agent on the 2002-vintage aircraft powered by CFM56 engines. Both aircraft will be parted out.

GoJet Airlines leased two CRJ700 (10092, 10162) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Delta Air Lines for eight years. The 2003/04-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Skywest Airlines.

JetGo Australia leased an Embraer ERJ-135LR (145687) aircraft with AE3007-A1/3 engines from ECC Leasing. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by FlyMex.

Jet2 leased a Boeing 737-500 (28572) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from FNBC Leasing. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Estonian Air.

LAM Mocambique leased a Boeing 737-500 (25418) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Bricknell Aviation And Property Pty. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Star Air Cargo.

SkyKing Airlines leased a Boeing 737-300 (23441) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from AerSale. The 1986-vintage aircraft was last operated by Delta Air Lines.

SriLankan Airlines leased an Airbus A330-200 (526) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Air Lease Corporation. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.

Vale SA leased an Embraer ERJ-190 (19000002) aircraft with CF34-10E6 engines from ECC Leasing for a period of one year. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by JetBlue Airways.

VivaColumbia leased an Airbus A320 (1306) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium.

Vueling leased an Airbus A320 (2589) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from ILFC. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Spanair.

Yamal Airlines leased an Airbus A320 (1969) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Avianova.
