Avolon closes E-190 P&LBs with Virgin Australia

Avolon Aerospace Leasing has completed the acquisition of two second-hand Embraer 190s from Virgin Australia under a purchase and leaseback transaction.

Both aircraft are equipped with CF34-10E5 engines. They were delivered new to the Australian operator in 2009. The first aircraft, MSN 19000312, was closed earlier this week. The second, MSN 19000321 closed on 29 June.

Last month Avolon added the E-190 type to its portfolio with the acquisition of two Embraer 190s from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines under a similar agreement. The aircraft, MSNs 19000519 and 19000522, are operated by KLM Cityhopper under a 10-year lease period.

AirBaltic leased a Boeing 737-300 (29335) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Oak Hill Advisors in a transaction managed by Santos Dumont. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by TUI.

AirBaltic extended the lease of a Boeing 737-300 (29334) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Oak Hill Advisors. The 1999-vintage aircraft had been leased by AirBaltic since 2006.

Aircastle purchased a Boeing 737-800 (28626) with CFM56-7B26 engines from Oak Hill Advisors. The 2000-vintage aircraft is on lease to Korean Airlines. Santos Dumont managed the transaction.

Air Madagascar purchased an Airbus A340-300 (319) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Air France. The 2000-vintage aircraft was operated by Air France since new.

Air Nigeria wetleased an Airbus A330-200 (709) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Egyptair. The 2005-vintage aircraft has been operated by Egyptair since new.

Air Seychelles leased an Airbus A330-200 (751) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from ILFC. The 2005-vintage aircraft was operated by Jet Airways since 2009.

Canadian North leased a Boeing 737-300QC (29189) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Shandong Airlines.

Citilink agreed to lease an Airbus A319 (2692) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines.

Cosmo Líneas Aéreas leased an Airbus A320 (0415) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Avion Express. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by FlyHellas.

Enerjet leased two Boeing 737-700 (30244, 30249) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from AWAS. The 2002-vintage aircraft were previously operated by LAN Columbia.

LOT Polish Airlines acquired a Boeing 767-300ER (28656) aircraft with CF6-80C2B6 engines from Aircastle. The 1997-build aircraft has been operated by LOT Polish Airlines since new.

Neptune Air leased a Boeing 737-400SF (23448) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from Aurora Aviation Group II. The 1985-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Okay Airways.

Northern Air Cargo leased a Boeing 737-300SF (23260) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from GECAS. The 1985-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Bluebird Cargo.

Orient Thai Airlines purchased a Boeing 747-400 (24956) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from ILFC. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Garuda Indonesia.

Ryan International Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A330-200 (0343) aircraft with PW4168A engines from Aircastle. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Atlasjet Airlines.

SunExpress leased a Boeing 737-800 (28072) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from FLY Leasing. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Berlin.

Turkish Airlines leased an Airbus A319 (2452) aircraft with V2524-A5 engines from ILFC. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Pegasus Airlines.

Wow Air subleased one Airbus A320 (0415) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Avion Express for one year. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by FlyHellas.
