Turkish Airlines leases two ex-SkyEurope 737NGs

Turkish Airlines has leased of two used Boeing 737-700 (34753, 34755) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from GECAS for a period of six years. Both aircraft, which were manufactured in 2007, were previously operated by SkyEurope.

Since the beginning of the year, the carrier has added one ex-easyJet A321-200 to its fleet as well as three Boeing 777-300ERs on a wetlease contract from Jet Airways.

Turkish Airlines operates a 122-aircraft fleet, including four 737-400s, 48 737-800s, four A319-100s, 22 A320-200s, 21 A321-200s, seven A330-200s, nine A340-300s, three 777-300ERs and four A310-300Fs.

AeroVIP Argentina leased a Bombardier CRJ-900 (15209) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from Pluna. The aircraft was delivered new to Pluna in December last year.

Aerolineas Argentinas leased a Boeing 737-700 (30236) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from GECAS. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by easyJet.

Aerosur leased a Boeing 747-400 (32339) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Virgin Atlantic.

Aires Columbia leased a Boeing 737-700 (33788) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from Wells Fargo Bank Northwest NA Trustee. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by AeroMexico.

Aircalin subleased an Airbus A320-200 (1450) with CFM56-5B4/2P engines from CSA Czech Airlines for a one-month period. The 2004-vintage aircraft is leased by CSA Czech Airlines from AerCap through April 2011.

AndaluJet leased a Boeing 737-700 (34297) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from GECAS. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by AeroMexico.

Ariana Afghan Airlines wetleased a Boeing 737-800 (28069) aircraft with CFM56-7B26engines from Saga Airlines. The 1998-vintage aircraft is leased by Saga Airlines from Aviation Capital Group.

Air Bridge Cargo leased a Boeing 747-400ERF (33096) aircraft with CF6-80C2B5F engines from Air France. The 2002-vintage aircraft was operated by Air France since new.

Avient Aviation leased a Boeing MD11F (48408) aircraft with PW4460 engines from PALS. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Variglog.

Belgian Air Force leased an Airbus A330-300 (96) aircraft with PW4168 engines from HiFly. The 1995-vintage ex-Sabena aircraft will be operated for the Belgian government.

Cobham Aviation Services Australia purchased three BAe 146QT aircraft from BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. The BAe 146QTs - two Series 300s (E3194 and E3198) - and a Series 100 (E1002) had been leased from BAE Systems Asset Management since 1990. MSN E1002 was built in 1982 and is powered by ALF502-R3 engines. MSNs E3194 and E3198 were built in 1991 and is powered by ALF502-R5 engines. The purchase contract coincides with the long-term renewal by Australian air Express (AaE) of a A$100 million air freight contract under which Cobham will continue providing aircrew and maintenance support for the BAe 146QTs.

Cobham Aviation Services Australia extended the lease of a BAe 146-300 aircraft (E3217) aircraft with ALF502-R5 engines from BAE Systems Regional Aircraft.

Garuda Indonesia wetleased one Airbus A330-300 (670) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Iberworld through the Hajj period. The 2005-vintage aircraft is leased by Iberworld from CIT.

Korean Air leased a new Boeing 777-300ER (37136) aircraft with GE90-115BL2 engines from Guggenheim Aviation Partners.

Med-View Airlines wetleased two Boeing 767-300ERs (24318, 25411) with PW4060 engines from EuroAtlantic Airlines for the Hajj period. MSN 24318 is a 1989-vintage aircraft owned by Sojitz Aircraft Leasing. MSN 25411 is a 1991-vintage aircraft owned by GECAS.

Myanmar International Airways acquired an Airbus A320-200 (114) with V2500-A1 engines from Adria Airways. The 1990-vintage aircraft has been at Adria Airways since new.

Rayyan Air leased a Boeing 747-200C (23652) aircraft with from SG Air Leasing. The 1987-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Martinair Holland.

Regional 1 Airlines purchased a Bombardier CRJ-100ER (7184) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Avmax Group. The 1997-vintage aircraft was last operated by Air Littoral.

Skywings International Airlines leased a Boeing 757-200 (27204) aircraft with PW2037 engines from Boeing Capital Corp. The 1994-vintage ex-Far Eastern Air Transport aircraft was previously operated by Angkor Airways.

Skywest Airlines purchased a Fokker F100 (11450) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from Wells Fargo Bank Northwest NA Trustee. The 1994-vintage aircraft was last operated by Cosmic Air.

WebJet Linhas Aéreas leased a Boeing 737-300 (24465) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from AerCo Group. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Indonesia AirAsia.

Wings of Lebanon leased a Boeing 737-300 (24465) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from ILFC. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomson Airways.

SAT Airlines leased a Boeing 737-500 (28721) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from First Greenwich Kahala. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Sterling Airlines.

TAG Aviation Stansted acquired one Boeing 737-500 (25218) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Georgian Airlines.

TAG Aviation Stansted purchased a Boeing 737-300 (24671) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from Aircastle Investment. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Aerocontractors of Nigeria.
