Garuda closes 737-800 S&LBs
Garuda Indonesia has agreed a sale and leaseback transaction with operating lessor MC Aviation Partners ("MCAP") regarding three Boeing 737-800s with CFM56-7B26/3 engines.
The first two aircraft, MSNs 30144 and 30145 were delivered to Garuda Indonesia in April and May, respectively. The remaining aircraft, MSN 30146, was delivered last week. Under the terms MCAP acquired the three aircraft from the Indonesian carrier and has placed them on lease for a period of 12 years.
Air Mekong subleased four Bombardier CRJ-900ER (15002, 15003, 150110, 150112) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from SkyWest Airlines. The 2007-vintage aircraft were previously operated by myAir.
Alliance Air leased a Fokker F-100 (11278) aircraft with Tay 650-15 from Pembroke Group. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Germania.
Astraeus wetleased a Boeing 757-200 (25622) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Air Finland. The 1993-vintage aircraft is owned by ILFC.
EasyJet wetleased a pair of Boeing 757-200ERs with RB211-535E4 engines for the summer season. MSN 29309 is leased from Titan Airways. The aircraft was manufactured in 2000. MSN 24292 is leased from Astraeus. The aircraft was manufactured in 1989.
FedEx purchased one Boeing 757-200ER (25059) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from British Airways. The 1991-vintage aircraft is the first of five aircraft believed to have been sold for a total of $44.2 million.
FedEx purchased one Boeing 757-200ER (24369) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from BBAM. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.
Helvetic Air leased a Fokker F-100 (11324) aircraft with Tay 650-15 from Aircraft Financing & Trading. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Regional.
Interjet Airlines subleased an Airbus A320-200 (3374) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Mexicana. The 2008-vintage aircraft was leased by the CIT Group.
Israir leased an Airbus A320-200 (289) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Lehman Brothers. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Gulf Air.
Midwest Airlines leased a Boeing 737-800 (28591) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from Lease Investment Flight Trust. The 1999-vintage aircraft was last operated by Pegasus Airlines.
Pegasus Aviation leased a Boeing MD-83 (49448) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from PALS. The 1986-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Map Jet.
Red Start Airways wetleased a Boeing MD-82 (49431) aircraft with JT8D-217A engines from ItAli Airlines. The 1987-vintage aircraft was last operated by Alitalia.
Rossiya extended the leases of two Boeing 737-500 (24989, 25115) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines with ILFC for 16 months. The 1991-vintage aircraft will be leased until October 2011.
Tailwind Airlines leased a Boeing 737-400 (27628) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ILFC. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Alaska Airlines.
Travel Service wetleased a Boeing 737-800 (29926) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from Blue Air Transport Aerian. The 2000-vintage aircraft is owned by the CIT Group.
UAM inducted an Airbus A310-300 (640) aircraft for disassembly. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously equipped with PW4156A engines and owned by ILFC. It was leased by Aerolineas Argentinas since 2004.
UT Air leased a Bombardier CRJ-100LR (7122) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Panorama Leasing. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Eurowings.
UT Air leased a Boeing 757-200 (29382) aircraft with PW2040 engines from ILFC. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Finnair.
Viking Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (30292) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Sunwing Airlines. The 2004-vintage aircraft is owned by Aviation Capital Group.
White Airways leased an Airbus A320-200 (548) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from BBAM. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by CCM Airlines.
