Regional leases ex-Alitalia E-170 fleet
Air France's feeder arm Regional has agreed to take six Embraer 170LR aircraft on operating leases from GECAS and Aldus Aviation.
The aircraft, MSNs 8, 9, 10, 11, 32 and 36 were previously operated by Alitalia Express. They were acquired by GECAS in 2004 under a purchase and leaseback transaction.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend database, MSNs 9, 10, 11 were purchased by Aldus Portfolio Leasing in 2008 with the lease attached to Alitalia Express, while MSNs 8, 32 and 36 are owned by GECAS.
The first aircraft is scheduled to be delivered to Regional this month and will be placed into commercial service in December. The last aircraft is due in August 2012.
AirAsia transferred two Airbus A320-200 (2885, 3182) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/P engines to Indonesia AirAsia. The first aircraft was manufactured in 2006, the second in 2007.
A J Walter Aviation agreed to acquire three Boeing 737-400 (24237, 24238, 25015) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from Pembroke Group. The aircraft were previously operated by Germania. The first two aircraft were built in 1998, the third in 1991.
AWAS acquired two Airbus A319-100 (2905, 2935) aircraft with CFM56-5B7/P engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2006-vintage aircraft have a lease attached to Shenzhen Airlines.
Canjet Airlines wetleased a Boeing 737-800 (34902) aircraft with CFM56-7B24/3 engines from Transavia France for the winter period. The 2007-vintage aircraft is on lease from BBAM.
CT Aerospace purchased a Boeing 737-700 (32425) aircraft with CFM56-7B20 engines from Sumisho Aircraft Asset Management for part out. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by EasyJet.
Cirrus Airways wetleased a Bombardier CRJ-200LR (7170) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Adria Airways. The 1997-vintage aircraft was operated by Adria Airways since new.
Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation purchased a Fokker F100 (11493) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from France Aircraft Finance III B.V. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Britair.
RAK Airways wetleased an Embraer 190LR (19000325) aircraft with CF34-10E5 engines from Air Moldova. The 2010-vintage aircraft was operated by Air Moldova since new.
Star Peru purchased a BAE Systems 146-200QT (E2114) aircraft with ALF502-R5 engines from Titan Airways in a transaction arranged by Falko. The 1988-vintage ex-Ansett Australia Cargo aircraft was acquired by Titan Airways in 2003.
Sunwing Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (34690) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Thomson Airways. The 2007-vintage aircraft is owned by Sumisho Aircraft Asset Management.
Transaero transferred a Boeing 737-500 (28103) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines to Transaero Imperial. The 1998-vintage ex-Continental Airlines aircraft was operated by Transaero since 2010.
TUI Airlines Nederland subleased a Boeing 737-800 (38014) aircraft with CFM56-7B26/3 engines from Arkefly. The 2002-vintage aircraft is on lease from GECAS.
Ukraine International Airlines leased a Boeing 737-300 (28670) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Brussels Airlines.
United Airways Bangladesh purchased a Boeing MD-83 (53377) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Sky Express Airlines. The 1993-vintage aircraft was acquired by Sky Express in 2009.
VarigLog leased a Boeing 737-400SF (25595) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mistral Air.
Voyageur Airways leased a Bombardier CRJ-200LR (7191) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from GECAS. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mesa Airlines.
Willis Lease acquired two Boeing 737-400 (24530, 24858) aircraft from Aergo Capital for part out. MSN 24530 is a 1990-vintage aircraft equipped with CFM56-3B2 engines. MSN 24858 is a 1990-vintage aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines. Both were previously operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
Zest Airways leased an Airbus A320-200 (743) aircraft with V2527E-A5 engines from Aircastle Investment. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Lotus Air.
