AerCap sells four aircraft in Q1
AerCap closed sales transactions on four aircraft during the first quarter of 2012.
The operating lessor sold one Boeing 757-200 (27235) to Sunrise Asset Management for Allegiant Air lease. The 1994-vintage aircraft is equipped with RB211-535E4 engines. AerCap also sold one Airbus A330 (1231) from its owned portfolio.
The operating lessor sold ex-Norwegian 737-300 (24909) to Wood Creek Aircraft Holding SPV and one 737-400 (23868) from its managed portfolio.
AerCap placed ex-Batavia A319 (2660) to Bangkok Airways. The lessor also announced the placement of ex-Kingfisher A321 (3034) to Nordwind Airlines, ex-AirBlue A321 (1008) to Onur Air, ex- Chengdu Airlines A319 (949) to Hamburg Airways, ex-USA 3000 Airlines A320 (1860) to Frontier Airlines. AerCap also placed ex-Nok Air's 737-400 (29204) with Yamal Airlines.
Air Madagascar leased an Airbus A340-300 (210) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Air France. The 1998-vintage aircraft was operated by Air France since new.
Avion Express leased an Airbus A320 (0415) aircraft with V2500-A1 engines from TAF 2000-1 ABS Portfolio. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by FlyHellas.
Cargo Air purchased a Boeing 737-300SF (25614) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from BCC Equipment Leasing. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Moskva Air Company as a passenger aircraft.
Cosmo Airlines wetleased an Airbus A320 (0415) aircraft with V2500-A1 engines from Avion Express. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by FlyHellas.
Eritrean Airways wetleased an Airbus A319 (3139) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/P engines from BH Air. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Namibia.
FedEx purchased a Boeing 757-200 (26705) aircraft with PW2037 engines from Aerolease International. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by United Airlines.
GoJet Airlines leased two Bombardier CRJ700 (10062, 10075, 10106) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Delta Air Lines. The 2002-vintage aircraft were previously operated by SkyWest Airlines.
Hamburg Airways extended operating leases of a pair of Airbus A319 (3533, 3560) aircraft with CFM56-5B5/3 engines with HSH Global Aircraft Fund 1. Both 2008-vintage aircraft were placed last year in April. Amentum Capital acted on behalf of HSH Nordbank's Global Aircraft Fund I. The aircraft were acquired in July 2008 through a purchase and leaseback transaction with Hamburg International Airlines.
Libyan Airlines wetleased an Airbus A320 (1597) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Nouvelair Tunisie. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously subleased to Koral Blue.
National Airlines leased a Boeing 757-200 (24543) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Global Knafaim Leasing in a deal arranged by IBA Group. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Astraeus Airlines.
Passaredo Linhas Aéreas leased an Embraer 145LR (145165) aircraft with AE3007-A1/1 engines from ECC Leasing. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Satena.
Rusline leased a Bombardier CRJ200LR (7483) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Sky Swallows. The 2001-vintage aircraft was last operated by Comair.
Skyjet Airlines leased a BAE Systems 146-200 (E2031) aircraft with ALF502R5 engines from Regional One Inc. The 1985-vintage aircraft was last operated by Heritage Air.
S7 Airlines leased a Boeing 737-700 (30667) aircraft with CF56-7B26 engines from ILFC. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Malev.
Sunwing Airlines leased a Boeing 737-700 (37757) aircraft with CF56-7B24/3 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Berlin.
Transaero Airlines leased a Boeing 737-700 (29359) aircraft with CF56-7B20 engines from ILFC. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Malev.
T´way Air leased a Boeing 737-800 (30660) aircraft with CF56-7B27 engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by SpiceJet.
Transavia Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (35831) aircraft with CF56-7B27/3 engines from GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Transavia.
TUIfly transferred a Boeing 737-900 (27990) aircraft with CFM56-7B26E engines to Jetairfly. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jet4You.
Vueling Airlines leased an Airbus A320 (1933) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously leased to Spanair.
Wow Air (damp) leased one Airbus A320 (299) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Avion Express for one year. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Cubana.
