ASA takes first two CRJ700s from Horizon
Atlantic Southeast Airlines has taken delivery of the first two Bombardier CRJ-701ERs from Horizon Air. In June this year the SkyWest subsidiary announced it was adding four aircraft of the type to its fleet for Delta Connection operation.
The first two aircraft, MSNs 10005 and 10026, have been taken on sublease basis from Horizon Air. The 2001-vintage aircraft are powered by CF34-8C1 engines.
The Alaska Group's subsidiary fleet includes 18 CRJ-701ERs, two of which are already subleased to South African Express.
Aerovista purchased a Boeing 737-500 (26439) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Luxair. The 1993-vintage aircraft was operated by Luxair since new. Singapore Aviation Consulting arranged the transaction on behalf of Luxair.
Air Méditerranée leased a Boeing 737-500 (28084) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Orix Aviation until 2013. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Sterling Airlines.
Boliviana de Aviacion leased a Boeing 737-300 (24450) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from Orix Aviation for a period of three years. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by British Airways.
Central Charter Airlines Slovakia leased a Boeing 737-500 (26704) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Orix Aviation for a period of five months. The 1993-vintage aircraft, which was previously operated by Bulgaria Air, is placed until January 2011.
FedEx acquired a Boeing 757-200 (24748) aircraft with PW2040 engines from Aircastle Investment. The 1990-vintage aircraft was last operated by Air Italy.
JetBlue Airways leased an Airbus A320-200 (1650) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was last operated by BlueWings.
Kabo Air leased a Boeing 767-300 (23436) aircraft with CF6-80A2 engines from Tradecraft. The 1987-vintage was last operated by Delta Airlines.
Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace acquired three Boeing 737-300 (23540, 23539, 23537) aircraft from GECASfor part out. The aircraft were manufactured in 1986.
Morningstar Air Express leased two Boeing 757-200SF (27198, 27199) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from FedEx. The ex-US Airways 1993-vintage aircraft were converted into freighters earlier this year.
Nile Air leased an Airbus A320-200 (3183) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from AerCap. The 2007-vintage ex-Kingfisher aircraft joins MSN 3219, which was delivered earlier this year.
Scandinavian Airlines System entered a sale and leaseback agreement for a Boeing 737-700 (34549) aircraft with CFM56-7B22/3 engines at SEK 264 million ($35.9 million).
Scandinavian Airlines System sold one Airbus A321-200 (1333) aircraft with V25337-A5 engines for SEK 131 million ($17.8 million). The 2000-vintage aircraft was operated by Spanair.
