SAS adds 737-700s

SAS has taken delivery of a fourth Boeing 737-700 aircraft from GECAS under an agreement signed in April 2011. The aircraft, MSN 33005, is a 2002-vintage aircraft that was previously leased to Virgin Australia. It follows MSN 32734, which delivered in May.

As part of the 12 737-700 agreement with GECAS, SAS agreed to lease a Boeing 737-700 (33418) aircraft from GECAS. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Virgin Australia.

Another aircraft scheduled to join SAS, MSN 32737, was built in 2002. The aircraft was previously operated by Cimber Sterling.

Air Annabon agreed to lease a BAE Systems 146-300 (E3120) aircraft with ALF502-1F engines from Chen Avia (Pty). The 1989-vintage aircraft was last operated by Air Wisconsin.

Air Panama purchased a Fokker 100 (11315) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from Jet Trading & Leasing. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by PRiMA Aero Trasporti Italiani.

Ak Bars Aero agreed to lease a Bombardier CRJ200LR (7414) aircraft with Cf34-3b1 engines from Export Development Canada. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by MexicanaLink.

Asian Express Airline agreed to purchase two BAE Systems Avro RJ100 (E3374, E3375) aircraft with LF507-1F engines from Triangle Regional Aircraft Leasing. The 2000-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Aegean Airlines.

Asiana Cargo agreed to lease a Boeing 747-400BDSF (26343) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from AerSale. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Japan Airlines.

Avion Express agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (0211) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines from Sparhorn. The 1991-vintage aircraft was last operated by Premium Jet.

Avianca (Brazil) purchased an Airbus A318 (3371aircraft with PW6122A ngines from LAN Airlines. The 2008-vintage aircraft was operated by LAN Airlines since new.

Atlanta Icelandic agreed to lease a Boeing 747-400 (26342) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from AerSale. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Japan Airlines.

Bingo Airways leased an Airbus A320 (2645) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from Air Lease Corporation. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.

Boliviana de Aviacion agreed to lease a Boeing 737-300 (28554) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AFT 1999-1 ABS portfolio. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aerosur.

Delta Air Lines agreed to purchase a Boeing MD-90 (53361) aircraft with V2525-D5 engines from Japan Airlines. The 1990-vintage aircraft was operated by Japan Airlines since new.

Druk Air leased an Airbus A319 (3950) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/P engines from Elviria Leasing (Pembroke Group). The 2009-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Olympic Air.

GoJet Airlines leased three Bombardier CRJ700ER (10090, 10148, 10182) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Comair. The 2003/04-vintage aircraft were operated by Comair since new.

HiFly agreed to lease two Airbus A340-300 (190, 202) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Nomura Babcock & Brown. The 1997-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Emirates Airline.

Livingston agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (2496) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from AerCap. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.

Mahan Air purchased an Airbus A300-600R (0464) aircraft with CF6-80C2A5 engines from Vertir Airlines. The 1988-vintage aircraft was operated by Vertir Airlines since 2011.

Myanmar International Airlines agreed to purchase an Airbus A321 (0765) aircraft with CFM56-5B2/P engines from Alitalia. The 1998-vintage aircraft was operated by Alitalia since new.

SkyBird Air leased a Dornier 328Jet (3120) aircraft with PW306B engines from 328 Support Services. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Shell Petroleum Development.

Universal Asset Management purchased two Boeing 737-500 (26662, 26668) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from United Airlines for part-out. The 1992-vintage aircraft were operated by United Airlines since new.

Vietnam Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (2522) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from FLY Leasing. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.
