Avianca-Brazil takes LAN Airlines A318s
Avianca-Brazil has acquired a pair of Airbus A318-100 (3001, 3062) aircraft with PW6122A engines from LAN Airlines. The 2007-vintage aircraft were operated by LAN Airlines since new.
Avianca is leasing the 10 ex-Mexicana fleet (2328, 2333, 2358, 2367, 2377, 2394, 2523, 2544, 2552, 2575) aircraft with CFM56-5B8/P engines from GECAS. The 2004/05-vintage aircraft were leased to Mexicana since new. The Colombian carrier plans to take all 10 A318s next year and use them to replace its fleet of Fokker 100s, which are primarily used on domestic routes.
The A318 will be a new aircraft type for Avianca, but the carrier already operates a fast-growing fleet of A319s and A320s.
Aerosvit leased one Boeing 767-300ER (25532) aircraft with PW4056 engines from Aerospace Finance Asia. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Royal Air Brunei.
AlNaser Airlines wetleased a Boeing 737-400 (25109) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Solitaire Air. The 1994-vintage aircraft is on lease from Boeing Capital Corp.
Air Wisconsin leased a Bombardier CRJ200ER (7399) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from GECAS. The 2000-vintage aircraft was last operated by Chautauqua Airlines.
Atlas Air acquired a Boeing 747-400BCF (26344) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from Japan Airlines. The 1992-vintage aircraft was converted into freight in 2006.
Atlas Air leased a Boeing 747-400 (26892) aircraft with PW4056 engines from United Airlines. The 1992-vintage aircraft was operated by United Airlines since new.
Avianova leased an Airbus A320-200 (2157) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from RBS Aviation Capital. The 2004-vintage aircraft were previously operated by easyjet.
Comair Pty leased one Boeing 737-800 (32732) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from GECAS. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Pegasus Airlines.
GA Telesis acquired two Airbus A300B4-600R (729, 730) aircraft with PW4158 engines from Jalux. The 1994/95-vintage aircraft was operated by Japan Airlines since new.
Korongo Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-300 (25070) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from Brussels Airlines. The 1991-vintage aircraft was operated by Brussels Airlines since 2007.
Iberia transferred an Airbus A320-200 (356) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines to Vueling. The 1993-vintage aircraft was operated by Iberia since new.
Infinity Trading & Solutions purchased a Boeing 737-300 (22947) from Southwest Airlines for part-out. The 1985-vintage aircraft was operated by Southwest Airlines since new.
Leone Airways agreed to wetlease a pair of Boeing 737-800 (38870, 38871) aircraft with CFM56-7B26/3 engines from Arik Air. The 2009-vintage aircraft were operated by Arik Air since new.
Mais Linhas Aéreas leased a Fokker F100 (11400) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from Mass Holdings. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by MexicanaClick.
Onur Air leased an Airbus A321-200 (835) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 1998-vintage aircraft were previously operated by BMI.
Onur Air leased an Airbus A320-200 (496) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from ILFC. The 1995-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Skyservice.
Pegasus Airlines leased one Boeing 737-800 (37745) aircraft with CFM56-7B26/3 engines from RBS Aviation Capital. The 2009-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Berlin.
People's Vienna Line leased an Embraer 170 (150) aircraft with CF34-8E5 engines from Altenrhein Realco. The 2006-vintage aircraft was sold by Finnair Aircraft Finance in December 2010.
Sky Wings Airlines acquired four RJ100 (HS3341, HS3343, HS3358, HS3362) aircraft with LF507-1F engines from Aegean Airlines. The 1999-vintage aircraft had been operated by Aegean Airlines since new.

Transaero Airlines leased one Boeing 767-300ER (29383) aircraft with CF6-80C2B6F engines from ILFC. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kenya Airways.
T7 Aviation Leasing purchased a Boeing 777-200ER (26935) aircraft with PW4090 engines. The 1997-vintage aircraft was first delivered to United Airlines but had been operated by Air India between 2005 and 2010. It will be operated by Omni Air International. Bristol Associates arranged the transaction on behalf of U.S. Bank Trust NA, not in its individual capacity but solely as owner trustee.
Velvet Sky leased a Boeing 737-300 (24051) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from Aergo Capital. The 1988-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Safair.
Spicejet leased a pair of Boeing 737-800 (29926, 30019) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from the CIT Group. MSN 29926 is a 2000-vintage aircraft previously operated by Blue Air Transport Aerian. MSN 30019 is a 2000-vintage aircraft previously operated by Blue Air Transport Aerian.
