Aerovision Aircraft Services buys ex-Mesa ERJ-145s
Aerovision Aircraft Services has completed the purchase of a 10 Embraer 145LR aircraft fleet with AE3007-A1 engines previously operated by US regional carrier Mesa Airlines with a $15 million loan facility from JP Morgan Chase Bank NA.
The aircraft were held by Wells Fargo Bank Northwest as owner trustee under various trust agreements with State Street Bank & Trust and Wells Fargo Bank Northwest the lenders participants.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, MSN 145217, which was built in 2000 and MSN 145416, a 2001-vintage aircraft, were owned by GECAS.
Another 2001-built aircraft, MSN 145448, was owned by a special purpose vehicle managed by Transamerica Aircraft Finance Group.
MSNs 145457, 145478, 14502 and 145507, also manufactured in 2001, were owned by Philip Morris Capital Corp.
Th remaining three aircraft, MSNs 145517, 145530 and MSN 145572, built in 2002, were owned by Bank of America.
The aircraft are currently in storage in Hot Springs - Memorial Field, Arizona.
Africa World Airlines leased an Embraer 145 (14500992) aircraft with AE3007-A1 engines from Changjiang Leasing. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Tianjin Airlines.
Air Incheon purchased a Boeing 737-400SF aircraft from Jetran International for domestic services. The 1991-vintage high gross weight aircraft, MSN 24921, is equipped with CFM56-3B1 engines. The ex-Air One 737 was acquired in January from GECAS for 11 pallet configuration freighter conversion at Aeronautical Engineers Inc.
Air Panama agreed to purchase a Fokker 100 (11307) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from Jet Trading & Leasing. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by PRiMA Aero Trasporti Italiani.
Amaszonas leased a Bombardier CRJ200LR (7217) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Avmax Aircraft Leasing. The 2002-vintage aircraft was last operated by Mesa Airlines.
Andes Lineas Aereas leased a Boeing MD-83 (53015) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from EAST 2000-1 ABS portfolio. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Austral.
CanJet Airlines leased a Boeing 737-800 (37748) aircraft with CFM56-7B2 engines from CIT Leasing Corp. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Berlin.
Caribbean Airlines subleased a Boeing 767-300ER (26327) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from LAN Airlines. The 1996-vintage aircraft was operated by LAN Airlines since new.
ExpressJet leased a Bombardier CRJ900ER NextGen (15157) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from Comair. The 2007-vintage aircraft was operated by Comair since new.
FLY Leasing purchased two Boeing 737-800 (27980, 27989) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from BBAM. The 1998-vintage aircraft are on lease to Transaero Airlines.
Nasair Eritrea subleased an Airbus A320 (0325) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from East Air. The 1992-vintage aircraft is owned by Nordic Aviation Capital.
P.C. Air purchased an Airbus A310-300 (0320) aircraft with JT9D-7R4E1 engines from Air Bagan. The 1984-vintage aircraft was operated by Air Bagan since 2007.
Pakistan International Airlines agreed to lease five Boeing 737-800 (30403, 30407, 30408, 30409, 30410) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from North American Aircraft Hire. The 2002-vintage aircraft are currently operated by Jet Airways.
Peruvian Airlines leased two Boeing 737-300 (25071) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from ACG Acquisition XX. The 1991-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Aerosur.

RayaJet leased an Airbus A320 (1497) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from ILFC. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Spanair.
Safair Aviation Group purchased a Boeing 737-400 (24446) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Qantas. The 1993-vintage aircraft were operated by Qantas since new.
Sideral Air Cargo agreed to purchase a Boeing 737-400SF (24529) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Transpacific Pty. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Heavylift Cargo Airlines.
Shaheen Air International agreed to lease three Boeing 737-400 (27166, 27167, 27190) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AAR Aircraft Sales & Leasing. The 1992/93-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Malaysia Airlines.
SkyBird Air agreed to lease two Dornier 328Jet (3141, 3151) aircraft with PW306B engines from 328 Support Services. The 2000-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Shell Petroleum Development.
SkyWest leased a Bombardier CRJ900ER NextGen (15159) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Comair. The 2008-vintage aircraft was operated by Comair since new.
Turkish Airlines agreed to wetleased an Airbus A330-200 (0802) aircraft with PW4168A engines from Meridiana Fly for a period of one year. The 2005-vintage aircraft is on lease from CIT Aerospace.
Yamal Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (2439) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from CIT Aerospace International. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Cebu Pacific Air.
