Titan Airways acquires two 2000-vintage 757s

Titan Airways has completed the purchase of two Boeing 757-200 (29307, 29308) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from special purpose company (SPC) Hagondale Ltd. (Lloyds TSB Bank).

The 2000-vintage aircraft, leased to AtlasJet Airlines are currently wetleased to Saudi Arabian Airlines. They will be returned to Hagondale in February and March 2012, respectively and Skytech-AIC, which acted as an adviser to Titan Airways, is remarketing the first aircraft for outright sale.

The aircraft was delivered new to Iberia in July 2000, and has been on lease to AtlasJet in Turkey since August 2005 where it will remain until the end of February 2012.

Air Transat leased an Airbus A330-200 (427) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia.

Air Astana leased a Boeing 757-200 (27971) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from Macquarie AirFinance. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Omni Air International.

Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation purchased an Airbus A320-200 (342) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines from AAR Aircraft Sales & Leasing. The 1992-vintage aircraft was last operated by Air Comet.

Eritrean Airways subleased an Airbus A320-200 (793) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Nouvelair Tunisie. The 1998-vintage aircraft was last operated by Travel Service Airlines.

Easyjet transferred an Airbus A320-200 (4233) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines to Easyjet Switzerland. The 2010-vintage aircraft is on lease from RBS Aviation Capital.

FedEx purchased a Boeing 757-200 (25268) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from BBAM. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomson Airways.

Canjet Airlines leased a Boeing 737-800 (34901) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Transavia France. The 2007-vintage aircraft is on lease from Nomura Babcock & Brown.

Jeju Air leased a Boeing 737-800 (30285) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Air Lease Corp. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by JetAir Fly.

Network Aviation Australia acquired five Fokker F100 (11464, 11465, 11482, 11506, 11514) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from Avianca in a transaction arranged by Falko. The 1993/94-vintage former American Airlines aircraft was operated by Avianca since 2006.

Kolavia leased an Airbus A320-200 (668) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from ILFC. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Onur Air.

Sky Airline leased an Airbus A320-200 (447) aircraft with V2500-A1 engines from Aviation Capital Group. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mexicana.

Skywings Asia Airlines leased an Airbus A320-200 (476) aircraft with V2500-A1 engines from Orix Aviation. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.

Stellar Airways wetleased an Airbus A320-200 (726) aircraft with CFM56-5A1 engines from White for one year. The 1997-vintage aircraft is on lease from ILFC.

Sunwing Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (32740) aircraft with CFM56- 7B27 engines from Travel Service for the winter period. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Futura International Airways.

Sunwing Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (35131) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from Thomson Airways for the winter period. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomson Airways.

Thameside Aero Spares purchased a Boeing MD-82 (49215) aircraft from the UK Civil Aviation Authority for partout. The 1986-vintage aircraft was last operated by ItAli Airlines. The transaction was arranged by Airstream International Group.
