JetBlue Airways will launch new flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport to both Cartagena, Colombia, and Las Vegas in October.
The once daily flights will be operated on 150-seat Airbus A320s from 29 October, according to the New York-based carrier.
“We are excited to offer our South Florida customers even more choices by adding two more exciting destinations,” says Robin Hayes, president of JetBlue, in a statement. “As of 29 October, we will offer 32 nonstop routes originating in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and we will continuously expand our presence in this region to meet the growing demand.”
The airline will launch new Fort Lauderdale-Pittsburgh service on 29 October as well.
Spirit Airlines operates both routes and Southwest Airlines flies between Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas, Innovata schedules show.
