JetBlue, Emirates sign codeshare pact

JetBlue Airways and Emirates announced a codeshare agreement to connect the carriers' networks via New York's John F. Kennedy (JFK) International airport.

The two airlines have been interline partners since 2010.

Emirates will place its code on JetBlue-operated connections from New York-JFK to 12 markets, including Boston; Burlington, Vermont; Buffalo, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago-O'Hare; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Jacksonville, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Portland, Maine; Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina; Tampa, Florida; and Washington-Dulles.

Emirates currently offers two daily nonstop flights from JFK to Dubai.
