JetBlue unit revenues flat in June

JetBlue Airways has reported that its passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) remained flat in June compared with the same period last year.

Revenue passenger miles grew 7.8%, while available seat miles rose by 8% year-on-year during June. The New York-based airline's load factor fell by 0.2 percentage points to 85.7%.

Passenger numbers rose 6% to 2.64 million.

On a year-to-date basis, passenger traffic rose 7.4% on a capacity increase of 7.1% year-on-year.

The year-to-date load factor increased 0.3 percentage points to 84.4%, while passenger numbers rose 6.1% to 15.1 million.
