Low-cost carrier Jetstar Asia plans to start a new service between Singapore and Guilin from 3 November.

It will operate twice weekly on the route, using Airbus A320 aircraft, says the Singapore-based associate of Australia's Jetstar.

"Guilin is a fantastic addition to our leisure network and provides yet another great Asian travel option for Singaporeans and connecting Jetstar, Qantas and international interline customers through our Singapore hub," says Jetstar Asia CEO Chong Phit Lian.

The carrier will be the only airline operating between Singapore and Guilin.
