Jetstar Pacific has completed the transformation to an all-Airbus A320 aircraft fleet.

The Vietnam-based low-cost airline has modernised its fleet with five A320s and replaced all its five Boeing 737-400s, says Australia's Jetstar.

The carrier, which is 70% owned by Vietnam Airlines and 30% by Jetstar parent Qantas, aims to grow its fleet to 15 A320s within the next few years.

This fleet renewal programme will deliver significant cost improvements in terms of fuel efficiency and maintenance, adds the airline.
