Australian low-cost carrier Jetstar Airways will resume its direct Melbourne-Honolulu service on 15 December.
The carrier will initially operate twice weekly services on the route, before increasing it to thrice weekly, says Jetstar Airways.
In addition, it will also increase its services from Sydney and Melbourne to Denpasar from six times and five times weekly respectively, to daily services.
The frequency of its Sydney-Phuket service will also be increased from three to four times weekly.
Jetstar Airways will operate Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the four routes.
Schedules in Innovata show that Jetstar Airways will be the only operator on the Melbourne-Honolulu route, and competes with Virgin Australia and Garuda Indonesia on the routes from Sydney and Melbourne to Denpasar.
