A Jetstream 31 operated by Vincent Aviation on behalf of Air New Zealand’s Eagle Airways ran off the runway at Auckland International airport during an aborted take-off on 2 November.

According to a statement from Air New Zealand, the aircraft was operating flight NZ2067 from Auckland to Taupo and had 14 passengers and two crew on board.

As the crew commenced rolling for take-off just before 15:00 local time, they elected to abort the roll and left the runway. The airport subsequently closed the runway until the aircraft was cleared, causing some incoming flights to be diverted.

Air New Zealand says that there were no injuries in the incident and that all passengers were accommodated on a later service.

Flightlgobal’s Ascent Online database shows that the company operates a fleet of three Jetstream 31s and one BAe 146.
