Flydubai has contracted Joramco to complete the interiors of newly delivered Boeing 737s ahead of their entry into service with Middle Eastern budget airline.

The Jordanian maintenance specialist will install seats and IFE systems on seven 737-800s. The aircraft will be flown from Boeing’s Renton facility directly to Amman-based Joramco for the work.

Flydubai has 40 737-800s in service and another 23 aircraft of the type on order, Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows.

Joramco says it is aiming to expand its co-operation with the UAE-based carrier.

The partners have been working together for about two years.
