Kenya Airways takes delivery of first owned E-190

Kenya Airways received its first fully-owned Embraer 190 regional jet on 30 August.

The airline has nine more E-190s on order. Six are expected to be delivered on a monthly basis over the next six months, while the remaining three will arrive in May, August and November 2013.

Kenya Airways now has a fleet of 11 Embraer aircraft, comprising a mixture of E-170s and E-190s. It has also ordered nine Boeing 787s - due to start arriving in 2014.
