Farnborough Aircraft's (FACL) proof-of-concept F1 Kestrel single-engined turboprop made its first flight on 29 July in Bend, Oregon. FACL plans 50h of flight testing in Bend and then will ferry the aircraft to the UK. It will then continue on to Abu Dhabi for a two-week promotional tour. FACL was awarded full intellectual property rights for the Kestrel FI at a US hearing last month.
