Air France-KLM is to sell 15 Fokker 100 aircraft used by regional division KLM Cityhopper, and has appointed Focus Aviation to carry out the remarketing.

KLM Cityhopper is to replace the twin-jets – all 19 years old, and the oldest of the type in its fleet – with Embraer 190 aircraft.

Air France-KLM ordered up to 38 Embraer 170/175 and 190/195 regional jets last year. Cityhopper plans to withdraw its older Fokker 100s by around 2010.
