Korean Air and Czech Airlines will expand their codeshare partnership starting 31 March.
Korean Air will place its code on nine services from Prague, operated by Czech Airlines. These are to Berlin, Milan, Munich, Nice, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Stuttgart and Zurich, says its spokesman.
In return, the Czech flag carrier will place its code on 17 services operated by Korean Air. These include destinations from Seoul Incheon to Bangkok, Denpasar, Tokyo Narita, Sapporo, Jakarta and Hanoi.
The spokesman also confirmed Korean Air now codeshares on eight services operated by Czech from Prague, while Czech codeshares on Korean Air's Seoul Incheon-Prague service.
Korean Air is expected to sign a contract in late April with state-owned Czech Aeroholding to take a 44% stake in Czech Airlines. Czech Aeroholding holds the country's national aviation assets and owns a 95.7% stake in Czech Airlines.
