Kuwait's ministry of finance is selling an Airbus A300-600 as part of a broader divestment of components which also includes spares from the emirate's Amiri fleet.

It has identified the Amiri fleet aircraft as MSN344, a Pratt & Whitney JT9D-powered example, although the formal Kuwaiti public notification says the jet has only one engine.

The ministry says it is selling spares of Amiri aircraft including Boeing 727 and MD-83 components, as well as used tyres from the fleet's Boeing 747-400.

Offers for the aircraft and the various components will need to be submitted before deadline dates in October.
