Chile's LAN is seeking financing to cover 14 Airbus A320 family aircraft that deliver next year, according to market sources.
The airline has issued a request for proposals for various financing tools to fund the upcoming deliveries.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, the airline will receive two Airbus A319, seven A320 and five A321 aircraft in 2013.
Separately, LAN received its first Boeing 787-8 on 31 August, becoming the fourth airline in the world to operate the new aircraft. It has orders for 32 787s, comprising 22 787-8s and 10 -9s.
