Lao Central Airlines and Indonesia's Sky Aviation have placed their Sukhoi Superjet 100s into service.

Sukhoi says that Sky Aviation's first SSJ100, registered PK-ECL, operated its first scheduled service between Makassar and Sorong on 23 March. The aircraft was delivered to the airline on 27 February.

Sky Aviation placed an order for 12 SSJ100s in 2011, for delivery between 2012 and 2015. Sky has a fleet of eight aircraft, including five Fokker 50s and a Boeing 737-300.

Similarly, Lao Central's first SSJ100 entered service on 24 March, flying between Vientiane and Luang Prabang.

Lao Central has two more SSJ100s on order that are due to be delivered this year. It operates two Boeing 737-400s on passenger services, and Flightglobal Pro data shows that it has an Ilyushin IL-76 and a Let L-410 turboprop in service.
