LATAM Airlines group has posted a 10.1% increase in traffic in November compared to 2011.
Capacity increased 6.5% while the load factor rose 2.5 percentage points to 76.9%.
Domestic passenger traffic in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia rose 10.7%, as capacity increased 14.9%, resulting in a 2.9 percentage point decrease in the domestic load factor to 76.6%.
Domestic passenger traffic in Brazil rose 14.7%, as capacity decreased 5.2%, which resulted in a 14 percentage point increase in load factor to 80.7%.
International passenger traffic rose 6.9%, with capacity up 13.4%, resulting in a 4.5 percentage point decrease in the international load factor to 74.5%. International traffic includes the international operations of both LAN and TAM on regional and long haul routes.
Cargo traffic for LAN fell 3.7%, while capacity increased 3.1%. The cargo load factor fell by 4.3 percentage points to 60.5%.
